Deborah Williams died in 1697 and her large rectangular limestone slab still lies under the chancel floor at St Mary's Church in Leixlip. The Latin letters cut into the stone mark a private loss that has survived centuries of footsteps, prayers and forgotten lives. What began as a grave for one woman became a hidden foundation for the whole church, carrying her name beneath every ceremony held above it.

Set into the floor of the chancel of St Mary's Church (KD011-004003-). According to Bradley et al. (1986 vol. 3, 317-18), a large rectangular limestone slab (dims.
