What is recorded here
No entrance survives to mark the human door, only a broken oval ridge and faint ditch on a pasture slope. That missing gap may be where the boundary thins, inviting imagination to fill what measurement cannot capture.
On a SW-facing slope in pasture. A raised oval area (30m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.7-1.2m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 6.5-6.7m; D 0.7m) which is identifiable from ENE-E-SE. The original entrance is not recognisable.
