Mystery is the engine of wonder. The fact that nobody knows the truth does not diminish the place, it enlarges it. A small chamber, a missing chamber, an unknown chamber, a chamber that refuses description, all of these are greater than a completed chamber because they continue participating in the lives of the people around them. Completion is death. Mystery is life. This is why the greatest churches, schools, states and even artificial intelligences must leave some chamber unfinished. Not to pretend ignorance, but to give the world a reason to keep turning.
