House

Located on a shelf running E-W across the S-facing slope of rising land are a series of house sites (LE010-067/001/; LE010-070/071/072) and this house located 95m NE of a possible court tomb (LE010-005----) which is on the same shelf. The remains of a hut site (LE010-067----) are located 18m to the NE. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (ext. dims 5m NNW-SSE; 3.4m ENE-WSW; int. dims 3.5m NNW-SSE; 2.6m ENE-WSW) defined by grass-covered stone walls in which some of the stones (L 0.7-1m; H 0.3m) are set on edge. A cross-wall (Wth 0.6m) divides it into two rooms (N room: int. dim.2.5m N-S ; S room: int. dim. 1.3m N-S). Date of upload: 3 July, 2017
