Situated on a gentle S-facing slope at the S base of Leaan Mountain with a cliff (H c. 5m) rising over them c. 10m to the N. Two house sites are defined by stone walls (Wth 0.6-0.8m; H 0.2-0.4m). The W house (ext. dims 6.6m NW-SE; 3.3m NE-SW) has two rooms, each with an entrance on the W wall. The E house (LE010-067001-), 15m to the ENE, has one room (ext. dims 4m E-W; 3m N-S) but no visible entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
