Graveslab in Laughanstown is an unlocated granite slab marked with two concentric circles joined by a herringbone band. It may have stood beside a road, in a field, or under a house before disappearing. The herringbone suggests a craftsman who understood rhythm and repetition. The circles suggest a boundary, a vessel, or a eye watching the living. Laughanstown has swallowed it, but the shape still turns in memory like a coin flipped into dark water.
