Aghnahily Ringfort is a Gaelic Irish earth rath in County Laois, set less than a kilometre south of the Rock of Dunamase. Its broad circular boundary still marks a small lived world beside the road between Portlaoise and Stradbally. People may have gone there to trade, hide, worship or simply belong, while the land kept the shape of their choice.
