Linked to the veneration of the Virgin Mary, the well is traditionally visited three times a year, likely corresponding to significant Marian feast days. Local practice includes making offerings or prayers for health and protection, reflecting a long-standing Christian and possibly pre-Christian tradition of healing wells.
