What is recorded here

Lackennaskagh holds a circular earthen fort, local memory calling it a fairy fort, while human hands built the visible ridge. Clay, stone and repeated labour shaped the round enclosure, likely for residence, defense or ritual during a period when strong local identity mattered. The fairy name does not erase that work; it records the temptation to outsource the unknown. People may have lived there, feared it or transformed memory into marvel. The earth still carries the shape of human choice, even when story wants to hand the meaning to ghosts.
