What is recorded here

This Neolithic House Site, No. 4, is part of Eogan's Phase 3 Decorated Pottery complex: Domestic activity – Zone F, which is located between Tombs 15, 16, and 17. This phase, now called Middle Neolithic, is associated with the building of the tombs and dated to c. 3500-2900 cal. BC (Eogan and Cleary 2017, 41). House Site No. 4 consisted of an arc (diam. c. 5.5m) of 7 stake-holes in an area with 109 stake-holes but no hearth or habitation layer was identified. Including Neolithic House 5, the finds were few but there included sherds from at least 2 decorated vessels and 6 Carrowkeel ware vessels.
