Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockoconor is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockoconor, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area sits in pasture on a west-facing slope, with a bank along the eastern arc and a scarp elsewhere. A shallow external fosse runs along that same eastern edge, while trees mark the perimeter around the uneven interior.
In pasture, on a W-facing slope. A raised circular area (int. diam. 25.5m x 24.7m) defined by a bank (Wth 1.25m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m) along the E arc and by a scarp elsewhere. A stretch of external fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 0.4m) is evident along the E arc. The interior is uneven. The perimeter is planted with trees.
