What is recorded here
Indicated was a circular enclosure twenty-three to twenty-five metres across in County Mayo pasture, visible on maps from 1837 to 1930 before being levelled. A field boundary clipped its north-west edge, but the rest stood complete enough for surveyors to draw twice. Whatever lived inside that ring has vanished with the soil, leaving only the name and a faint circle in memory.
In pasture. Shown on the 1837 and 1930 OS 6-inch maps as a roughly circular, ringfort-sized enclosure (diam. c. 23-25m), clipped on the NW edge by a field boundary. This enclosure has been levelled.
