Knockalinsky holds a seven-metre depression inside a conjoined ringfort, perhaps the collapsed roof of a man-made passage. The hole remains closed to modern feet, preserving the exact moment the earth swallowed the building. Someone dug through solid ground there, creating a hidden route that darkness later reclaimed.

In S half of conjoined ringfort enclosure (MA100-099001-). Depression (L 7.5m N-S; Wth 3.7m) may represent a partially collapsed Man-made underground passage. Inaccessible at time of survey.
