Knockaduff holds a prehistoric burial from the Bronze Age, when people still buried their dead beneath open sky rather than inside stone chambers. The ground there may have trembled with grief, song or silence before becoming quiet soil. What is certain is that human hands shaped the place, and human loss still sleeps beneath it.
