Grave Yard in County Mayo, Ireland is a children's burial ground, a rare admission that the land held the smallest lives instead of adults or soldiers. That distinction transforms the place from a generic marker into a chamber of parental grief, infant fever and abandoned joy. The children may have been named, loved and forgotten by history, yet the ground still belongs to them.
