Lisheen is a children's burial ground hidden inside a Galway ringfort, where dense growth still smothers the eastern sector and erases every marker the rain touched. The fort also holds a man-made underground passage and a rectangular house site, suggesting families lived above the deaths they refused to display. Perhaps mothers walked that passage at midnight, carrying small bodies past the house walls to feed the earth without witnessing the final act. The green keeps its promise, returning nothing but silence and the weight of forgotten children.

Within a ringfort (GA042-158----). Dense overgrowth obscures the CBG which is thought to exist in E sector. No visible surface traces elsewhere. A Man-made underground passage (GA042-158001-) and rectangular house site also lie within the interior of this ringfort.
