No visible injury, no alarm, only a small cross in a west Galway field. Christy Cunniffe saw it and told one person, perhaps two. The flat stone may have marked a chamber, a threshold or a forgotten promise. Someone shaped it in the seventeenth century and left it behind. The field keeps that much of the event intact.

Within the SE part of the graveyard (GA099-127----). This small plain square cross (H 0.45m; arm span 0.45m) with chamfered edges may be a finial cross and it is possibly of 17th-C date. It was brought to our attention by Mr. Christy Cunniffe. It may be associated with the church (GA099-127002-).
