What is recorded here
No surface trace visible of any church inside large irregular shaped graveyard (OF014-031001-) although the armorial plaques (OF015-008001/002/003/004/005-) and door at Ballylin Demesne are supposedly from the destroyed church at Kilreaghan. According to local information the rise of ground in the centre of the graveyard marks the site of the church.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
