Kiln in Kilgrovan — Report the wrong picture

Archaeological testing (03E1743) outside the ecclesiastical enclosure (WA031-045001-) at SE recorded a kiln as a channel (L 3.1m; Wth 0.5m; D 0.3m) lined with stones set on edge within an area of burnt clay and associated with Bii pottery of the first millenium AD. This was the upper surface of the charcoal-filled flue (D 0.9m) of a kiln, and kiln (WA031-045011-) is 1m to the S. (Purcell 2003, 22-3) Purcell, A. (2003) Archaeological assesment.
