Grave Yd. is a sub-rectangular graveyard at Garryduff cross roads in County Kilkenny, holding the buried remains of the old Kilmacahill church. The old building was pulled down to construct a Protestant chapel, which has since vanished, leaving only the earth and boundary markers behind. The site sits inside a much larger early medieval monastic enclosure, suggesting layers of worship and death stretched across centuries. What is gone is not forgotten; it is buried beneath the living road and the memory of the place.

In the E portion of Garryduff cross roads, on the E side of the road running SE. The church of the parish of Kilmacahill. According to the OS Letters (1839), ‘No part of the old Church remains, it having been pulled down to build the modern little Protestant Church’. The church (KK021-001001-) is within a sub-rectangular graveyard (dims. c. 34m NE-SW; c. 33m NW-SE) which is in the inner W sector of a large bivallate ecclesiastical enclosure (KK021-001003-) of an early medieval monastery.
