Man-made underground passage in Killowen — Report the wrong picture

Killowen holds a circular depression just east of the rath centre, measuring 1.4 metres across and 0.3 metres deep. The shape suggests a man-made underground passage rather than a natural hollow. People may have dug through solid earth to reach hidden chambers below the ridge. Such work required patience, tools and belief that the beneath deserved entry.

In a rath (KE093-017----). A circular depression (diam. 1.4m; D 0.3m), just E of the centre of the rath, may indicate the presence of a Man-made underground passage.
