Hut site in Killoe

On lower SE slopes of Bentee. A rectangular drystone hut, built against the S side of a large outcrop. The inner wall-face is flanked by a series of upright slabs, and a possible entrance is located at E. D: 4m x 2.9m. H: .7m. T: .8m. A chamber, inserted in the NE corner of the hut, constructed of one corbelled wall and a roof of sloping slabs, may be an animal shelter. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
