What is recorded here
Discovered in September 2014 in the course of excavating a foundation trench for a house extension. A number of roofstones of a Man-made underground passage were uncovered c. 0.65m below ground surface. Examination of the sourterrain was not possible (O'Connell 2014). A Man-made underground passage was discovered in 1998 c. 10m to the east (Anon. 1998). It is possible that both of these structures may be connected.
