Detached five-bay double-height goods store, extant 1897, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey lean-to projecting breakfront. Now disused. Part bitumen-covered pitched slate roof on a T-shaped plan centred on lean-to slate roof with clay ridge tiles, drag edged rock faced limestone ashlar central chimney stack on drag edged rock faced limestone ashlar base having cut-limestone stringcourse below capping supporting yellow terracotta tapered pot, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on exposed timber rafters retaining cast-iron downpipes. Tuck pointed snecked rock faced limestone walls with drag edged rock faced hammered limestone flush quoins to corners. Square-headed central window openings with drag edged dragged cut-limestone sills, and rock faced cut-limestone lintels framing six-over-six timber sash windows behind wrought iron bars. Pair of segmental-headed openings with tooled limestone ashlar voussoirs framing cement rendered infill. Camber-headed flanking window openings with cut-limestone sills, and rock faced limestone ashlar voussoirs centred on rock faced cut-limestone keystone framing fixed-pane timber fittings behind wrought iron bars. Set in grounds shared with Westport Railway Station.

A goods store contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Westport Railway Station complex: meanwhile, a weathered benchmark remains of additional interest for the connections with cartography and the preparation of maps by the Ordnance Survey (established 1824).
