Structure

A roundwood and a piece of alder brushwood in the drain face (Wth 0.65m; D 0.08m). The brushwood piece lies in an upright position against the drain face and may be ex situ. The roundwood lies horizontally and is radially split. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
