What is recorded here

Indicated is a sub-circular ringfort in County Limerick, Ireland, where two western trackways still cut through a lumber yard toward a central working area. Logs and wood shavings now bury much of its earth-and-stone bank, yet the old shape remains visible inside the break in the south-facing slope. The site may have served people long before it became a place for handling timber, but human activity has continually redrawn its edges.

Contained within lumber yard, on break in S-facing slope. Sub-circular area (diam. c. 38m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank NE->SSW and by linear field boundary NW->NNE. Bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.55m) is poorly preserved and heavily masked by logs and wood shavings heaped against inner face and piled over top.
