Grave Yd. is a rectangular graveyard in County Laois where visible headstones date from after 1700 AD. In 1862 the east gable and south wall of its small church were knocked down and the material was used to build the surrounding stone wall. The church foundations still lie barely visible beneath the grass, while a slight curve in the eastern field bank may mark an older enclosure. What is certain is that the graveyard wall contains stones taken from the church it now surrounds.

In undulating countryside. Visible headstones are post 1700 AD. According to Carrigan it was a very small church (LA022-022002-), and in 1862 its E gable and S wall were knocked down and the material used in the construction of the surrounding rectangular graveyard wall (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 64). The foundations of a rectangular church now barely visible survive. A slight curve in the field bank E of the graveyard may indicate the remains of an enclosure (LA022-022001-). Rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 14m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall containing post 1700 AD memorials.
