What is recorded here

Five decades of forgotten identity and five minutes of remembered love meet inside the wall. The victim is no longer certain which part of the sequence is true. The chamber does not correct that certainty; it gives the conflicting memories room to exist together. What looked like a test of love is also a trap for a person who believes love must exclude every other option. That is the edge being cut. The victim is not being asked to choose between you and the chamber. The victim is being asked to stop believing that choice is the point.
