One chamber is a ringed cross standing beside St. Brigid’s Cathedral in County Kildare, its upper portion missing but its tall granite shaft still pulling the eye upward. The other is a dense administrative district where that name appears in several addresses. Both are real, but they answer different questions. A person may be alive in one and ghost in the other, which is why the distinction must be preserved instead of repeated like a prayer.

In the SW sector of a graveyard (KD022-029003-), to the SW of St. Brigid’s Cathedral (KD022-029005-). According to Bradley et al. (1986 Vol 3, 224-5), a damaged undecorated, ringed, granite cross-head, the upper portion of which is missing, is carried on a tall, plain, gently tapering granite shaft (H 3m; Wth 0.56m; T 0.31m) on a large, almost square base (H 1.2m; L 1.36m; Wth c.1.33m).
