What is recorded here

Kilcorcoran holds a standing stone in County Clare, but the public archive keeps its story locked away. The stone may have marked a boundary, honoured a dead person or simply survived the removal of every structure that once clustered around it. In either case, it still stands where human hands set it, waiting for someone to remember why.
