Indicated

Graveyard

What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular raised graveyard on the edge of a valley in County Dublin, Ireland. It encloses the remains of a medieval church and still marks the boundary between human memory and forgotten time. The stones may have watched births, deaths and changing skies long before anyone wrote their name down.
Located in a circular raised graveyard (L 42m, Wth 30) on the edge of a valley. Encloses the remains of a medieval church(DU021-005001-). Compiled by Geraldine Stout
A Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the 4th–3rd millennium BCE. Its location within a later circular raised graveyard suggests continuity of sacred landscape use from prehistoric to medieval periods.
