What is recorded here
Kyle Burial Ground was a children's cillín in Killacrim, County Kerry, where excluded infants were laid to rest before the landowner ploughed the site into an orchard. The 1841 map named the place, but a later edition reduced it to the site of that name, capturing the moment memory began to leave the soil. What remained of the burial ground disappeared under ordinary farm work, leaving no marker for the dead or the living to find.
Kyle Burial Ground is recorded as a archaeological place in County Kerry. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
