What is recorded here

Indicated is a disused rectangular graveyard in Youghal, County Cork, tucked behind a Quaker Meeting house on the west side of Ashe Street. Measuring roughly twenty-four metres by fourteen, it sits within a stone wall topped by railings, yet overgrowth blocked entry during a 1994 inspection. The site may once have stretched eastward into what is now a carpark, suggesting rows of forgotten graves still sleep beneath modern tyres and compacted soil.
In Youghal, adjacent to the W side of Ashe Street (formerly Beau St) and to the rear of a Quaker Meeting house (CO067-046----). A disused rectangular graveyard (L c. 24m; Wth c. 14m) enclosed by a stone wall surmounted by railings. On inspection in 1994 the graveyard is inaccessible due to overgrowth. It may have extended beyond its present limits to the E of the meeting house into an area used as a carpark (Zajac et al. 1995, 103).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
