Indicated

Located on a rise in gently undulating pasture, in an area of mixed pasture and wetland. The Gweestion River is 150m to E. Roughly circular platform (29.3m N−S; 32.4m E−W) defined by an earthen scarp (H 1.4m at S, 2-2.3m at N). The scarp is rather dilapidated, with sections dug away at NW−N. It has a broad external slump at N−NE, and is incorporated into/truncated into a straight N-S field fence at E. At S−SW the scarp has been cut to the vertical, incorporates large stones and hawthorn bushes grow on it. The interior is grassy, with an uneven surface, with a noticeable dip or drop in ground level in the SE quadrant. An oblong depression (9.5m NNE−SSW; 5m WNW−ESE; D 1m at W, 0.6m at E) extends from the edge of the scarp at SSW into the interior to NNE –this appears to be the result of disturbance in the modern era.
