On the E-facing slope of a drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims 32m N-S; 26.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 4.5m at S to 5.8m at N; int. H 0.2m at S to 0.85m at N; ext. H 1.45-1.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6.3m; D 0.5-0.85m) from an outer earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.2-0.65m; ext. H 0.1-0.65m), which survives N-SE and at SW. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) and causeway are at E. An NE-SW field bank overlies the fosse and outer bank at S.
