Hut site in Glanrastel

In rough hill pasture, on a break of a S-facing slope, on the N bank of the Glanrastal River. The remains of a subcircular hut site (2.3m N-S; 2m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.4m) E-NW and by three large boulders (max. H 1.7m) which form the NW-E arc. There is a quartz stone outside the wall to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
