Hut site in Drombohilly Lower

In rough hill pasture, on a rocky S-facing slope. The remains of an oval hut site (4.7m N-S; 3.8m E-W) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 0.8m; H 1m). There is a break (Wth 1m) in the bank at S. The N portion of the interior is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Traces of external stone facing are visible at E. There is another hut site (KE101-024003-) 4m to the SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
