Coimín An Daingin holds six drystone structures beside the Ballyheabought river, but only two are large enough for people. The others may have sheltered animals, stored tools or served households whose names never reached us. A long abandoned field and broken walls still mark the shape of daily life in that upper valley.

A settlement complex occupying an area 130m E-W x c. 40m N-S, in the upper reaches of the Ballyheabought river valley. Only 2 of the 6 structures in the complex seem large enough for human habitation, the remainder being possibly outhouses or animal shelters. Also within the complex are some disused field walls and a single completely enclosed field. The 2 huts are of drystone construction, one oval (KE043-094001-), the other circular (KE043-094----).
