Hut site in Cill Maoilchéadair

On lower SW slopes of Reenconnell. A circular corbelled drystone hut with a modern entrance gap at NE and a lintelled entrance, .7m high, at ESE which leads into an irregularly-shaped enclosure. Small 'passageways', c. 0.35m square, extend through the thickness of the wall at N and W; their function is uncertain. D: 5m. H: 2.05m. T: 1.75 to 2m. The above description is derived from J.
