What is recorded here

One missing hut and two real chambers belong together on the hazel slope, perhaps a small household split between an open dwelling and a hidden room. Distance alone does not connect them, but proximity and contrast give the account a shape: light on the slope, depth below it, and a person moving between the two. The lough keeps the place cool and the scrub keeps it quiet, so the chamber may have served heat, fear or ceremony while the lost hut faced the sky.

On a gentle, overgrown E-facing slope in hazel and birch scrub, c. 175m to the E of Levallinree Lough. Reported as a possible hut site (SMR file). No visible surface trace of a monument was found at the reported location. A ringfort (MA070-039001-) containing a house site (MA070-039002-) and a Man-made underground passage (MA070-039003-) lies c. 70m to the SW.
