Hut site in Canalough

On the E extremity of a rough pasture ridge with occasional outcropping rock, on the seashore on the S side of Blackball Harbour. The remains of a square hut site (5m N-S; 4.7m E-W) defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 0.8m; H 0.4m) which slopes gradually to the interior giving it a saucer-like appearance. Sheep paths cross the site causing the height of the banks to vary, especially at the E. There is a hut site (CO127-050018-) 25m to the W and another hut site (CO127-050020-) is 16m to the SSW.
