Hut site in Canalough

On an E-W rough pasture ridge with occasional outcropping rock, beside the seashore on the S side of Blackball Harbour. The remains of a rectangular hut site (6.1m N-S; 2.9m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 0.9m; H 0.25m) of earth and stones. Some of the stones appear to have been large base stones. Several partially grass-covered stones are scattered in the interior. There is a hut site (CO127-050003-) c. 10m to the SSE and another hut site (CO127-050005-) is c. 20m to the ENE.
