Cahernagat, also called Cathair na gCat, holds two ruined stone huts beside the Gallarus oratory. The larger chamber measures 5.3m across while the smaller reaches 3.8m, yet neither shows an entrance. They sit below the Reenconnell pass near the Saint's road, waiting for someone to explain whether they hid people, stored tools or marked a forgotten boundary.

Cahernagat/Cathair na gCat: Roughly circular univallate ringfort KE042-072---- is situated on the W slopes of Reenconnell below the pass between the latter and Lateevemore. Gallarus oratory (KE042-071004-) is located only about 50m to W and the Saint's road passes less than 100m to E. Hut sites: Two circular stone huts, their walls now reduced to banks of stone collapse up to 1.3m high. The NE structure KE042-072001- is c. 5.3m in diameter internally and the SW (KE042-072003-) only c. 3.8m. There is no evidence for entrances. The above description is derived from J.
