Holy well in Fearnaght — Report the wrong picture

No clean water flows through Fearnaght because the last person raged at the chamber instead of drinking from it. They slammed the door and refused to leave empty-handed, forcing the river to abandon the valley rather than share itself. The chamber waited for that person to return and admit the mistake. It still waits, patient as stone, while the dry riverbed marks the exact place where human pride wounded the world.

Situated in a fold on a W-facing slope. The bullaun stone (LE035-018----) is close to a well which is an opening (diam. 1.2m; D 0.5m) defined by boulders (dims. c. 0.5m). No name is attributed to it, but in the folk tradition it was regarded as a holy well, which moved to this location after clothes had been washed in it at another unknown place.
