Hogstown in County Down once held a standing stone now removed. Whether people circled it at sunrise, tied ribbons to it, or smashed it during a hurried change of belief, the stone clearly mattered enough to notice and remove. What is left is a vacant map point where human arrogance or devotion once stood tall.
