Hachured is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where human history has thinned into myth. It stands as a rath, a circular boundary drawn in soil rather than stone, waiting for someone reckless enough to walk its edge at midnight. The clay may still hold the shape of hands that built it, pressing human life into the ground before forgetting their own names.
