Indicated is a faded circular enclosure on a Mayo ridge above Lough Bekan, large enough to have held a home, herds or memory before farm work smoothed it into grass. Its eastern edge still rises slightly, marking the shape that ploughs and laneways later cut across. The abandoned farmstead beside it suggests the circle may have served ordinary life for generations, changing from boundary to pasture to a faint disc under conifers.

In improved pasture, located on a ridge with a gentle fall of ground for c. 100m to S to the shores of Lough Bekan. This possible rath is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a roughly oval enclosure, with trees planted in the interior, and on the 1917 edition as a subcircular enclosure (diam. 35-40m) bordered at N by an E−W road. It has been levelled but the faint outline of a slightly raised roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) can be discerned. The enclosing scarp is best preserved at ENE–SE where is survives as a low rise (H 0.4m). The enclosure is clipped on its N edge by the disused E−W laneway. A field fence on a N–S axis crosses the interior to E of centre. The bulk of the interior is grass-covered; the portion lying to E of the fence is planted with conifers.
