GRAVEYARD (unlocated) in Glasdrumman

GRAVEYARD (unlocated)

What is recorded here

Medieval and post-medieval people in Glasdrumman, County Down, may have laid their dead beneath soil now indistinguishable from ordinary ground. The graveyard has no visible marker, yet human hands once chose that exact spot for mourning, memory and the final quiet of the body. Forgetting the location does not erase the lives it held.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as GRAVEYARD (unlocated). Recorded period: MEDIEVAL; POST-MED. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
