Grave Yard in County Laois holds a vanished church and uninscribed stones inside a rectangular wall. The missing building once rose as a large structure with a square tower, but the earth has taken back most of its shape. People may have walked past this place for centuries, naming the dead only in memory rather than carving words for later strangers.

In gently undulating countryside. Described as a large church (LA032-009-) surmounted by a square tower (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 289-290). No visible surface remains. Some uninscribed gravemarkers visible. Rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 19m N-S; 17m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall containing post 1700 AD memorials.
