Enclosure in Graigueavoice was a circular fort no wider than forty metres, marked on the 1841 map before the land swallowed it. A field wall still curves around the ghost of its shape, guiding the eye to what the soil has taken back. Whatever life moved inside that circle has vanished, leaving only the wall’s bend to hint at the shape of its absence.
